Social Studies Weekly
The Social Studies Weekly curriculum includes the newspapers students were assigned. The newspapers include articles that teach the AZ state standards and have activities and review homework on the back page. We read and discuss the articles in class, and students can expect homework assignments from the back page. Each week students will be assigned a new newspaper, and there will be a review quiz each Friday. Students will be given a completion grade for their homework and a grade for their quizzes. I will also be assigning projects sporatically throughout the year that will weigh the same amount as quizzes.
